Hi Jennifer,
He's an interesting situation, as there is little information to show his Notability other than the existence of a house. The house itself is Notable as it relates to it's unique architecture and historic relevance, but I couldn't find anywhere (other than vague references) as to what part he played in its design, architecture, or construction. I suspect if a Wikipedia article was created on him, laying out his life story, documenting his background with the Chicago Fire, showing his knowledge of architecture and his laying out of his design plans, and his work in constructing the home, then it would be clearer as to whether or not he would be considered Notable. However, with only some vague references to him, it's difficult to say at this time.
