GEDCOM upload reports complete, but then GEDCOMpare reports no upload

Question

I uploaded my GEDCOM (853lcr_7824926858059q9y8j2g3c.ged) exported from MyHeritage, with just under 4600 names. WikiTree reports it successfully completed the upload and indicates my file as GEDCOM 131755. I then try to access GEDCOMpare, but it indicates nothing has been uploaded and tells me to upload my file.  I see from multiple support discussion comments that you have issues with uploads from MyHeritage.  I see some users have successfully loaded the GEDCOM export from MyHeritage to other tools, such as GRAMPS, then done a re-export that WikiTree could load. I am hoping you can assist as WikiTree is useless to me if you can not upload my file from MyHeritage. Thanks Peter Vanderminden

Hi !

Every now and then a GEDCOM gets hung up in our system during an upload.  This happened with your recent GEDCOM upload.  Resubmitting it will cause the same problem to occur. If you'd like to send me your GEDCOM file, I can create a fresh GEDCOM with my family history software and you can upload that one instead. This has worked for others in the past. eowyn at wikitree.com
