Question

I am looking for the details on the mother of Carrie Marie Bates, Rose Edna Bates & Benjamin Harrison (Harry) Bates. All born abt. 1884-1888 in North Dakota.  I think Barnes Co.  The wife a.k.a RHENA, CORNA, CORINNE, CORINE, CORA may have last name of ALLISON, ELLISON.  Both Joseph Bates & wife had more marriages and mor children.  Can you help me?

Carrie Bates mother was Rene Johanna Ellison (born Haverstadt). She was born about 1866 in Minnesota and died about 1923 in Seattle, WA. Her husband was Joseph H. Bates who was born about 1850 in Maine and died about 1931 in Seattle, WA. Rene's parents were Mary and Herman Haverstadt, both of whom had immigrated from Norway and died in WA state.
