He was the long time head coach of the Auburn Tigers football team. I would love to know what part of Alabama he was from. I want to know where his ancestors were from as well.

"Shug" was his nickname. When you Google Ralph"Shug"Jordan,you will see why he had that nickname.

I posted that comment in order to see if anyone was researching Ralph"Shug"Jordan. I was hoping that someone would have some information about his family and ancestors. I don't know if he is connected to my family,yet. It would be nice to have a famous football coach in your family tree.
