I'd be happy to help out with cemeteries in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I'm a little unsure how to go about it, but Wikitree seems to have a lot of How To info!
Top of the morning,  Eric. I would be happy to record cemetery sites by photos in the Wichita, Kansas area.
Greenville, South Carolina

I recently moved to this area and would love to document the many old cemeteries in Greenville and surrounding areas.

Marietta Oliver
I would like to participate. Central Illinois.
I can help out in and around Waynesboro, VA!
I have taken a number of photos for www.findagrave.com that I can add to this site as well as taking new photos. I live in Davie County, North Carolina and am willing to drive to Forsyth, Yadkin, Iredell and other neighboring counties. Also, when we travel, I will stop at cemeteries and take photos.

Thanks,

Melanie S. Renfroe
Vancouver Island, British Columbia
I would like to start Cemeterianing and feel this group's helpfulness will get me started going the best direction with this. I live in rural Sedgwick county, Kansas and excited to do the work as well as enjoy the stories along the route!

Sign me up and point me in the correct manner!

Debbie Gruenbacher
I would be interested in helping in Georgia and Tennessee, time permitting.

I'll admit it, I enjoy documenting cemeteries, but I don't usually have time to go visit them! :(

Put me down for Hamilton County, Indiana and I'll help out when I can.

I'm interested in northeastern Delaware County, NY.  FYI Delaware County is slightly bigger than the state of Rhode Island, hence the reason for the limitation.

I'd be glad to help in the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati area.  I've done a few already for the Find a Grave website and have had others get pictures for me in other states.

I'd like to add to this project near Kingston,Ontario Canada. I have and take alot of photos in cemetaries in this area and mostly they are just in folders on my PC. With a predefined list, i could accomplish so much more.

I would like to help with cemeteries around Greenville, Wisconsin and in the Fox River Valley. I'm looking for an outdoor project and have helped with the records at my church so this project would be great. We have lots of small pioneer cemeteries nearby.

I have a collection of gravestone pics  from the Voortrekker cemetery in Pietermaritzburg S.A.that I took for Ancestry24 ,  a South African website which closed down in 2013. Before that, the section collecting tombstone pictures seemed to collapse. It is dangerous to go into most cemeteries alone here and maybe this was why. I see no reason why they should not be put on Wikitree. It was a voluntary effort on my part and I still have ownership of the photos although copies were sent in to the organiser of this other site but not acknowledged.  Maybe someone could consider whether they can be used?

Hi Sal

Yes I think we would defiantly like to work out how we can use those photos.

I will send you a PM shortly to get some details from you.

I can work cemeteries in several Ohio counties.  Tuscarawas,Stark,Carrollton,Harrison and probably a few more. I work slow as I have to use an electric scooter because I am handicapped.  Also can't go with snow on the ground, for the same reason. I do love cemetery going to work the cemeteries. If you don't mind my limitations I look forward to helping.

what is the rule regarding how recently someone died and what graves are appropriate to photograph?
by Anonymous Crewe G2G6 Mach 1 (10.9k points)
Some cemeteries have rules about no photographs of graves that aren't your family, so sometimes best to check first. I have called ahead to cemeteries where I've requested a local volunteer to photograph a relative's grave, but usually I just put in my photo request that I give my permission in case anyone were to question the volunteer, although often the local volunteers are already familiar with the situation, and these are non-commercial family purpose requests. Besides, difficult to enforce when only a couple relatives' plots are being photographed in a professional, respectful manner. It's easier to ask forgiveness than to ask permission lol.

Only rule is I would wait until the headstone is in place.
