Join us in the Perkins Name Study [closed]

Question

Clyde Perkins and I have put together a Wikitree page for a Perkins Name Study. We would love to collaborate with other Wikitreers interested in the Perkins family in America (and elsewhere). Our goals are: (1) to create a resource page for Perkins family research, (2) to expand/improve existing Perkins Wikitree profiles, and (3) to create new profiles for branches of the family not already included in the Wikitree global tree.

Good Space page, informative and helpful.  The link to the Hillmorton Parish Registers is to a specific register page.  It should be to the Space page for the registers: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Hillmorton_Parish_Registers, which contains links to all the register pages.

Hi Traci, 

After reading the above message and the Perkins_Name_Study space page, I am left unclear (as someone with a number of English Perkins relatives) whether this study is meant to include non-American Perkinses or not.  The message above states "We would love to collaborate with other Wikitreers interested in the Perkins family in America (and elsewhere)" while the space page states "This One Name Study was created to collect genealogical resources pertaining to The Perkins family in America."  A bit of editing to make the intended scope of your study clearer would be helpful, if you could, please.  Good luck with the project!

If you google Perkins plantations you will find a couple of researchers have done a lot of work tracing these bloodlines, I can't seem to give the links is why I have suggested the google.  My grandmother was a Perkins, she passed a few years back, knowing what I know now explains a lot.
