Why is this person in the Acadian Project [closed]

Question

This person, a son of a Scotish officer, brother of a revolutionary, a child at the time of the expulsion, has no apparent connection to Acadians except he may have had some as neighbours. Why has he been singled out as an Acadian?  Is there something about him that isn't evident in the profile?

{{Acadian}} is a project box and does not belong on the profile as the profile stands now. I would say you are free to remove it, and if it is sourced and verified later that it could be re-added (along with the Acadians Project Account).

Stuart I cannot give you an answer to your question, however, I see you have entered a note that uses the first person, which may not be pertinent if the PM changes, also please consider adding the date to it. Much better there than to have to go searching the changes list for it in the future.

I am unsure, but the person who added the template is the Coordinator for the Acadian Project so you may want to contact her.

Thanks all.  I'll contact the person that added him to the project and then, if there's no good reason, I'll remove it.

What I think happened was that he was confused with his father who was an officer at Ft Cumberland and was also on the committee to divide up the forfeited lands in Chignecto.  He could be appropriately added to the Great Upheaval list.
