No mention of death date, so Jan 9, 1809 must be the date he was buried.
You might also have a look at Zwartsluis, klapper op achternaam geref. begraven,1741-1821 (index on surnames of Dutch reformed burials), where it says (page 32) that his first spouse, Geesjen Gerbrants passed away in 1772, and his second spouse, Jantje Wildeboer, in 1795.
