Catholic church records in Mississippi show my great, great grandmother under these names (nee).  Frances, Francisca Anne, Francese with maiden name Burne, Brunner, Bruner, Brunau.  Married to William J. Ward. All children and dates match but I cannot find any info on her with those first/ last names.  Anyone?  http://www.hancockcountyhistoricalsociety.com/reference/indexchurch.htm?l=B

Census data indicates she was born about 1825- 1830 in Indiana and William b. abt 1820 in TN and those church records appear to start in 1847.   From familysearch.org (not much help I'm afraid).  Didn't see a marriage record.

U S Census, 1880 Bay Saint Louis, Hancock, MS

U S Census, 1870 Sheildsborough, Hancock, MS

 A A Ward F 14y MS

 Ella Ward F 12y MS

 Mary Ward F 10y TN

U S Census, 1850 Carroll county, Carroll, MS  ? same couple different county

Thanks for trying.  I did have that already.  Looks like she went by Frances Anne Brunner.  Her son, William, was living in a boarding house with some Brunner cousins in Vicksburg in the 1880 census after losing his first wife and before marrying Emma V. Fletcher who appears to be buried downtown New Orleans next to other Wards.
