Greetings, You don't have info on the offspring of John C. Carothers II (1726) -- His son is my 6th GG: SAMUEL H. CAROTHERS B:29 Apr 1760 in Lancaster, Cumberland, Pennsylvania, D:4 Nov 1817 in Washington, Pennsylvania, United States.

I think there is conflicting information on Samuel H. Carothers (1760-1817). While I do have him as the son of John C. Carothers and Sarah Neely, I have John C. Carothers as the son of James Albert Carothers/Carruthers and Mary Caldwell Morrison.  I also have Samuel's death in 1817 in Tennessee, not Pennsylvania.  When I have some time, I'll have to dig out my sources and post them here.
