I have information to contribute to the profile of Mary (Clarke) Farmer. This is what I can add:

These are the sources I am using:

Source:

MyHeritage Family Trees

MyHeritage.com [online database]. Lehi, UT, USA: MyHeritage (USA) Inc.

https://www.myheritage.com/research/collection-1/myheritage-family-trees

Family tree:

Baker Web Site, managed by Betsy Baker

https://www.myheritage.com/site-445079641/baker

Record:

https://www.myheritage.com/research/record-1-445079641-1-313/mary-farmer-born-clark-in-myheritage-family-trees

Citation:

*mary Farmer (born Clark)

Birth: 1660 - Virginia, USA

Death: 1693

Parents: Unknown Clark, Unknown Clark

Husband: Henry Farmer

Son: John Farmer

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

These are all user uploaded family trees, they don’t constitute verifiable sources. You can use then to try to locate proper records , but they are not advised to be added.

Please remove them as sources, if you want you could add a Research Notes section and refer to them , but not cite them.

Hi Julie,

We have the Virginia Project for work on Virginia profiles (pre or post 1700), please join us if you have an interest in Virginia:

Please see our page for sourcing Virginia profiles here:

Here is info on Mark Clarke's death county:

Please feel free to add more sources to the Henrico page if you have them.

As Marion stated, your suggested sources are trees, which are not in and of themselves sources.  These trees may have sources within them, so it is worth checking the trees to see if they provide leads for creating actual sources.

Thanks.
