Explain how William Wright's children by 3rd wife Plumilla Hart were born before William Wright's 2nd wife was dead.

I am looking for sources that would explain how WILLIAM WRIGHT (b 1779 son of JUSTUS WRIGHT) was married to his 3rd wife PLUMILLA HART by 1815 when their 1st child ASA was born, which was before WILLIAM'S 2nd wife MARRY BULLARD was dead (1839).  This would not be strange for the 21st century, but divorces were rare at that time.  Any support for the information provided here wowuld be appreciated.
