Already many years I'm looking for my Weber (or Weeber) family. It is told their roots are in Switzerland. My great-grandfather was called Jan Henricus Weeber. He was a son of Henricus Weeber and lived in the Netherlands. The place is called Bergum (or Burgum), municipality Tietjerksteradeel. Jan Henricus Weeber was married to Sijtsche (or Sijtske or Sytske) Rommerts Boonstra. My great-great-great-grandfather was called Johannes Weber (or Weeber). About 1755 he lived at Leeuwarden in the Netherlands.

My name is Hinke Hoogland (f.). My grandmother was called Hinke Weeber. She was a daughter of Henricus Weeber. I live in the north of the Netherlands, province Fryslân.
