Did William Friend Haney and Julie Cockrell have more than 1 child?

I'm fairly certain that William Friend Haney born in 1871 in Georgia, is my Great Grandfather.  My Grandfather William Jefferson Haney was born in 1894 in Georgia, but his Dad left the family and went to Arkanas and they didn't see him again until he came back to visit after my Grandfather was grown and had his own children.  My Mother remembers the visit.  They've always said My Grandfather's Dad was named Friend.  My Mother and I have been trying to find out more about our heritage on the Haney side, but don't know much as My Grandfather didn't know the Haneys since his Dad left.  Can you help me to know more about Williams Friend Haney, his other children, his parents?

Thanks for any info.

You may want to check with the profile manager about this. I looked for records & can only find a William F Hanner (Haney) with Pearl as a child in the 1910 censua. The wife listed for this family is Iva Haney age 40, not  Julia Haynie, shown in previous records.

When I search for William Jefferson Haney several different profiles appear that could be your grandfather.
