Looking for relatives of Alvin Douglas Christensen, born Foley Brook, NB about 1919, son of Christen M Christensen and Johanna Christine Jensen. Spouse Vera Florence May Carlson. Also looking for children/grandchildren of same.

I found him on Ancestry. com.  Alvin Douglas Christensen born 15 June 1919 in Foley Brook,  New Denmark NB,  died 18 March 2005, Edmonton Alberta. He had a daughter, Darlene Joan Christensen born 13 April 1940 in Foley Brook,  died 10 August 2007 in Abbotsford, BC. She married George Herman Bonn and had 2 children, names not listed,  so they must be living. Darlene had a sibling,  name not listed,  so probably living. Alvin Douglas had 4 brothers,  Raymond Walter,  Norman Cecil,  Gordon Linwood,  and Wallace Reginald.

Thank you for the info. I guess we now need to contact children of Darlene Joan, and find her siblings, she had 4 that I know of, that were younger, the youngest 2 sisters were 18 and 20 years younger.

Apparently Darlene had one sibling born to both her parents. Her parents divorced and her mother Vera remarried in 1949 to a Thurston Harold Greenough. They had 4 children, 3 of whom must still be alive (private). The 4th, Harold David Greenough, was born in 1951 in BC and died in 2003 in BC. I don't know if Alvin remarried and had any other children. Vera died in 2015 in Kelowna, BC.

Vera was born 22 October 1922 to Carl August Carlson and Clara Pauline Froland. she had 3 siblings,  Grace Bernice Regina Carlson,  born 1923 and Dorothy Ada Caroline Carlson,  born 1926. The third is private,  most likely still living. Vera was born in Metiskow, Alberta.
