I have added several new individuals to my wikitree. How do I update the tree without duplicating existing persons and data?

Did you refresh the page showing your tree? (Or is that not the question?)

No that was not the quesrtion. I have added 700 new persons to my ancestry.com file since I first loaded the tree on wikitree. I want to include the new persons but do not know how without uploading the tree again. how do you add new people without having to compare who is on the existing tree and who is on the current version of family tree maker.
sorry - I don't work with gedcoms, so I don't know the answer.  Have you looked at the GedCom FAQs page (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/GEDCOM_FAQ)?
sorry - the published reply picked up the ")?" in the link: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/GEDCOM_FAQ

Hi Ronald,

You can upload another GEDCOM with the new folks in it, hopefully only duplicating those that link up. You're right, that new GEDCOM uploads will not replace previous ones, so you really want to limit the number of duplicates. If there are too many duplicates in a new GEDCOM upload, the file will not process.  You can upload several small files - some folks upload a family at a time, from 4-8 people. Others upload a generation at a time. I hope this helps.
