Looking for parents of James Ira Morgan

Question

I cannot find any listings of parents for my great grandfather James Ira Morgan (1884-1944) in Orange County, NY. He was married to Sarah Estelle Terwilliger (1887-1958) who lived in Wallkill, NY and Cornwall, NY. Been at this awhile and haven't found anything.

James Ira Morgan and Sarah Estlle Terwiliger were the parents of Margaret Irene Morgan who married William Francis Baldwin 12 Oct 1927 at Orange, New York. William was 25 and Margaret's age was 18, her estimated birth year was 1909, William's was 1902. Familysearch.org

Margaret I Morgan was in the 1910 US Census of Wallkill, Orange, NY with her parents. Her age is indicated as 0, so she had likely not had her first birthday, implying that she was born some time in 1910. FamilySearch

Looked for but did not find James Ira Morgan's parents. Do you know whether they were born in NY, somewhere else in the USA or Europe?

Would you know about when they married or in what approximate year?

Not sure if they were born in USA or Europe actually. Some family members have said (rumor) that he was adopted and took the Morgan last name.

Yes, Margaret was my great aunt, which is James and Sarah's daughter. Not too much is known of her either, I know her death date had to be after Feb 1984, her brother (my grandfather) Wilbur passed away and the obit I have says she was a survivor. And her name is listed as Margaret Jones of Pleasant Valley.

While they are in Orange County in 1910, I don't think James & Sarah were married there because she is in Ulster county in 1900 if she is the daughter of John S. and Ida Terwilliger.  1900 Census Sarah S Terwilliger  This is the only match I found with a birth date of April 1887.

There is a James Morgan in Ulster county living with his parents Joseph & Bella Morgan.  The birth date of October 1884 does not match.  This James is listed as born in May 1888.  A James Morgan in Ulster Co. 1900

His draft card shows his birthday of October 24, 1883.  I would believe that over a gravestone marker from FindaGrave.  James Ira Morgan draft card  He is residing in Orange County but it doesn't list his birthplace, other than USA.

The obituary I have, and added to findagrave, lists her parents as John Lawrence and Minnie E Mentz Terwilliger.

That draft card looks altered to change a number to a 4 from 188_. Could be he messed up, but not sure. If its any help, James Morgan's son (Walter) passed away the same year as his father (1944) in the South Atlantic.
