All the Ancestry.com profiles show the link, but I cannot source it.  There is a suitable gap between Joseph and Brigitte.

Thank you.  The next know I need to untie involves (from Ancestry.com) her son, Jean Pierre Morneau, his wife, Marie Claire Pelletier, and whether Marie Claire is the daughter is the daughter of Joseph-Marie Pelletier and Marie-Madeleine Soucy.  The Ancestry profiles are poorly sourced and contradict the GEDCOM-imported profiles that are also poorly sourced.  The Pelletiers, Ouellets, Mivilles, and Migniers in my ancetry did not take the same art classes I took... This is not a tree!

i'll see if the resources you posted help me sort it out.

Yes, is the site considered a primary source, or at least sufficient for me to clean up the profiles at don't line up?

One goal I have is to firm up the maternal line through Filles du Roi LeFebvre and Barbe Viot for mtDNA reasons.  Another is just to get my tree imported here without the inconsistencies :)

Thanks again.  Just the tree on nos origines has lined up all my presumed linkages.  The only primary source on most of the profiles I have is Drouin, which would be great if I both remembered any French from 40 years ago and could read the writing in the first place!

There was an ulterior motive - to make sure my ducks were in a row before asking others to help do DNA confirmations.

Next then, I could look at likely mtDNA descendants under the terminal women on https://www.wikitree.com/treewidget/Viot-1/890 - preferably as far away from my great great grandmother Philomene Miville dite Deschesnes, Lena Charette, and Lillian Foster to work on mtDNA confirming the maternal line?  

I have some pretty large "dna circles" on Ancestry but very few of them are on GEDmatch, so AuDNA for the rest is 'known' but not 'proven'.  Rather, a whole lot of DNA matches have believed the same family tree...
