02-22-1915 Alfred Baur - Transcribe/translate German cursive to English

Please help transcribe/translate Grandpa Alfred Baur's letter from German cursive to English. He wrote this while attending Concordia College to become a Lutheran Pastor.

I believe it is written to his father Jacob Baur, who emigrated from the Stuttgart area in 1886.  Jacob is a pastor living in Hutchinson, MN USA.

This is an interesting time in history because of WWI, and also major changes in church history.

The entire letter is in German, except for thee words in English on page two he writes "25 years behind time." His sister Lydia was born 25 years before in 1890. Alfred was born in 1893. Don't know if this helps...

Monetary figures are mentioned a number of times. Don't know what they refer to.

Alfred was also interested in a young lady, Clara Hinderer. Her Dad's name was Paul Hinderer and lived in South Dakota. Clara was teaching, or had just finished teaching at the Apache Mission School in Arizona.

I hope this information is of help to you. I truly appreciate your help with this. Thanks!
