Could someone else please merge these pre-1700 profiles?

Question

Latimer-337 is a duplicate of Lattimer-10 (side-by-side comparison) so they should be merged.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding?

Or perhaps someone with more WikiTree experience would like to complete the merge? Let me know if you do. Thanks!

Last name at birth needs to be agreed upon first.

I completed the merge with Lattimer because that is what the sources used. Also, in the Latimer profile, the wife was Lattimer.

I also learned a valuable lesson which was to just do the merge. I spent a lot of time cleaning up the sources only to find that someone else was working on the merge! So, I am now going to clean up the sources like a good little WikiTreer...

I must say that I'm not certain this merge was done in the correct direction.  As Tanya mentioned, the last name at birth needed to be investigated.  John's sons, John and Bezaleel, have the name spelled Latimer on their gravestones.  And the Latimer family in Ipswich, Suffolk, England had only one 't' in it.  It would be good to wait for more people to respond and do more research into the family (his father has no sources) before proceeding.
