I appreciate the response. The Allan S McDonald I am looking for was born earlier. His son Danial Sylvester McDonald Sr. was born around 1866 and his son Danial Sylvester Jr ( my dads dad) was born around 1884. Jr immigrated to the USA to Paige or Valley City North Dakota and married Agnus Ann Daigle, where my father was born.
