Has anyone with the Whitley Surname done a DNA test?

There are over 2000 with the Whitley surname at Wikitree. A lesser number are shown as Active in red letters. Go to Find and enter the Whitley surname to investigate which ones have taken a DNA test. Familytreedna.com  has 93 names for Whitley DNA test results.

Thank you for the web site link but what is really funny is that all the Whitley's that have tested for Y- DNA in Wikitree are me on that web link site! Hard to believe that no other Whitley's have not been Y-DNA tested.What is believable is nobody wants to put it on there Wikitree page.

Yes, it would be helpful if everyone who took a DNA test was Y or mtDNA tested -- but it is a little pricier and the big advertised sales are for autosomnal tests.

I am guilty for not taking an mtDNA test as well but my mother's sister has taken one so I have an answer. I have been putting it off because of cost.

I have and I did one of my Father who recently passed away in Aug of 2019.  He was Clyde Efird Whitley.  Our info is in MyHeritage
