Was Dr. Samuel Higley married to Abigail Beaman or Abigail Bement?

I'm really scratching my head at this one.  It makes a difference because Abigail Beaman and Abigail Bement were two different people with different ancestries.

I'm wondering whether Samuel Beaman did have two married daughters called Abigail.  If that's known to be a fact, the other question might be answered.  But if one of those is fictitious, the other question might be answered.

Might be one and the same

"Connecticut Births and Christenings, 1649-1906," database, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F7W5-RVX : 11 February 2018), Abagaill Bement, 13 May 1700; citing ; FHL microfilm unknown.

Depends how much of the info on Find A Grave comes from the cemetery, and how much comes from FamilySearch and the submitter's assumptions.
So true RJ, but worth considering.
