Thoroughgood Pate is DNA matched to Abimilech Pate,my Pate ancestor.

Question

Why is it impossible to connect the two together? There are only two generations separating them.

You need sources showing the father-son connections. DNA can not be a source.

That is why I am on Wikitree. This is the one family line that has me scratching my head. If I didn't need help finding sources or whatever, I wouldn't be on Wikitree or any other site.

In response to your comment on January 28, no one on Wikitree has made any attempt to help me connect Abimilec Pate to him through documentation. Their only way of helping me is to remove my ancestors altogether, then go hide. I found one possibility of connecting the the individuals in question. There has been no attempt by anyone on Wikitree to help me verify the information.
