I have now found out that James Shaw died in Melbourne in 1876. He married Mary Cooper, Daughter of John and Jane Cooper, from Scotland, on 1st December 1854. They had four children Florence, James, Alfred and Ada. After his death the line goes dead. Did she return to Scotland?

I have a diary from Joseph Shaw dated 1854 where he lists "John Shaw Senior (born 27 July 1781) Sarah Summerville (Born 1782) were married on 2nd June 1811 at Stepney Church, Stepney, Middlesex. Is this the same marriage you found? Thank you.
Yes ,the record has her last name as Somerville.I seen a death record

in Australia, but no proof it is him.
I think this is the wrong generation. This Sarah was born in 1782, I am looking for James who died in Australia about 1875.
