Lucy Sue Scott Markham Death Certificate

I am seeking a death certificate for my great grandmother Lucy Sue Scott Markham (was also married to a Walter Cobb either before or after she married my great grandfather John Markham)

Any help in locating information on her death certificate is greatly appreciated.

Since she died in West Virginia in 1973, my understanding is that you need to contact the West Virginia Health Statistics Center, which gives the following information about who may obtain copies: 

"Certificates will only be issued to the next of kin or to persons with a legal right to the certificate. If you have questions concerning the right to obtain a copy of a death certificate, please contact the Vital Registration Program at (304) 558-2931."

I haven't tried getting copies from them, and don't know whether being a greatgrandchild gives you a 'legal right'.

Thank you for that information.  My main goal is to see what her last name was at death as she married twice but I don't know who she married first.

I see Find a grave lists only one cemetery in London, Kanawha County, West Virginia: Montgomery Memorial Park. Obviously, her dying in London doesn't imply that she was buried in London. But if you haven't contacted the cemetery to see whether she's buried there, that might be worth trying (especially if you can't get the death certificate).
