This is how I do it if I already know the regiment; I find the military category first. I am thinking you can do it from the profile. Otherwise, use the find category in the upper right. Once you find the correct category, you can copy and paste. When I did this the other day, it automatically (or so it seemed to me) added American Revolution and I got a red link. I just went in and deleted that and it was perfect.
