Suggestion List says {{Outlaws|American}} is wrong

+2 votes

The Suggest List has an error for Boles-736 "use of unnamed parameters
{{OUTLAWS|AMERICAN}}", but the Outlaws Project has exactly this usage as an example. Does something need to be added to the template for the suggestion list to operate correctly?

This was a valid error, but it has more to do with the actual template than how it is being used (the template was messed up).

Corrections have been made, if this error continues for this template, you can mark it as false.

Good man!

Found an easier solution and updated the template. No actions on your end, but feel free to mark this as a false error now.

(You will notice that your linked profile is now in the American Outlaws category)

Thank you, Sir!

I corrected the definition of this template. As it stands now, it has one unnamed parameter.

that makes some other errors

This usages are not ok, as template is defined now.

Thank you Aleš!

You have 2 different templates, one all caps, the other

Is what the project page gives

The Suggestion bot puts it in all caps, on the profile it is exactly {{Outlaws|American}}
That seems like an interesting issue with the formatting on WikiTree+

If an element is case-sensitive (and templates are case-sensitive), the suggestion about an error in that element should not be formatted in non-case-sensitive ALL CAPS.
Does this need a new issue raised to get attention from the right people?
ALL CAPS is just there for performance reasons. The capitalisation in Suggestion report should be ignored and all verification is done regardless of the case. This way less suggestions are produced.
