Does anybody know a J W COOKE

I am  researching a member of my family  Private J W COOKE  6186 of the 4th London Regiment who served in WW1, he is related to my grandmother who married into the Wilson family, I would appreciate any leads.

J. W. Cooke,previous to WW1 he was in Canada and a member of 101st Edmonton Fusiliers a Militia..He went back to England at some point.He was born April 31 1894.When back in England his enlistment document says his address
34 Seymour street,Denton Manchester England.List next kin Mrs J.W. Cooke.Have
not yet found his WW1 records,still looking,they are there somewhere.Will keep

I am running into some problems  with J.W.Cooke,What relationship did your Granmother have with him.And Where J.W born.Could we go back some and check your earlier research.Would need your permission to do so.
