I suppose it would depend on which Yale family of Wallingford, CT you are asking about...

Capt Thomas Yale (see page 123) removed from New Haven to Wallingford and is given as a nephew to Governor Elihu Yale in this source: https://archive.org/stream/yalegenealogyhis00yale#page/123/mode/1up/search/wallingford

Other Yale families and individuals exist in Wallingford where parentage is unknown such as Jasper Yale given on page 586 of the same work already given.
