Isaiah or Josiah Cushman?

I am working on Isaiah Cushman (Cushman-455). According to what is on his profile currently, and according to one source [See "A Historical and biographical genealogy of the Cushmans" and free space page https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:A_Historical_and_biographical_genealogy_of_the_Cushmans]

He is the son of Isaiah Cushman and Sarah (Ripley) Cushman (p.177 for Isaiah and Sarah).

On p.317 for Isaiah (Cushman-455), it states he married widow Sally/Polly Sturtevant. Sally was the daughter of Zachariah Cushman. Zachariah is mentioned on p.315, but it states she married "Josiah" Cushman. I believe it should be Isaiah, rather than Josiah (the errata does not mention this). In the index for this book, Isaiah is listed for Sumner,ME where he was born and Wrentham,MA, where he died. There are numerous Josiah's, but none for either place.

So my questions is, do you think I am reading this genealogy correctly and "Josiah" should be "Isaiah"?

I have done some research on FamilySearch and Ancestry, but if I can get this question answered, then I can do a better search in those places, I think.

Hi Susan,

I'm looking for James "Jimp" Cushman, born around 1785 in South Carolina.  His dad could be Simeon S. Cushman and his son could be Nathaniel "Nat" Cushman.

Thank you!
