Any way to find out if he served in the US Civil War (1860s)?

I've been trying to find records after finding a C. W. Griffith on the US Civil War Draft Registrations Records for June 30, 1863 in Ohio's 7th Congressional District. I have not been able to find anything else. Can somebody please help me?

There are two Collins Griffiths that served in the Union Army. One was from Michigan and one from Indiana. One has the middle initial D. None from Ohio. (found on Fold3)

Sorry for responding extremely late, but I've noticed many records that mistakenly put Collins' birthplace as Indiana. Do you know if you could please link the record if you are still able to find it?
