I have been attempting to add sources to the Tatka family line as none were given on any of the entries. I have been unable to substantiate that the listings, are, indeed, siblings. When the info was listed, birth and death dates were given as before 1 Jan 1860 and after 1 Jan 1860 for all of the siblings. In the case of Maria Tatka Sedlock, a street address was listed. I used that street address to find substantiation, found Maria's death certificate, and the parents listed are not the same as the ones in the profile. I have found an entry for her brother Andrew Tatka using the info that was presented, that he was a farmer in PA, but I have not been able to substantiate any link between any of these family members. No obituaries that name any one as siblings nor the parents listed. Any manifests that I have found list a different parent name than the one on wikitree. So, in a nutshell, I can definitely substantiate some of these people by the little bit of info given for each, but I CANNOT substantiate that they are actually related or that they belong to this family. There are no birth records available for the village in Poland that it listed on Naturalization records that I have found for two of these listings. However, it should be noted that the surname Tatka is more common than what one might think, and I have found several emigrating from Poland (the same village) who are entirely different families despite the surname being the same. In the case of Maria Sedlock, I did add Research Notes to the bottom of the profile, stating exactly what I have written here. Should I proceed with finding information, and just make a note that I cannot substantiate that these entries are actually related? Also, please note that this family does not come from Hungary, where it is presently listed. This is in Poland, which would have one time been northern Czechoslovakia, which was at one time Austria-Hungary. Thanks!
