Anyone out there an authority on living descendents of U.S. Presidents?

This is an answer to a very old question but the Presidents Project group is working on this exact issue.  According to numerous web sites it can be shown that all presidents (including ninth cousin six times removed President Obama) are related to our first president George Washington.  I'm hoping that other WikiTree members will find this interesting and join us in showing exactly how this may or may not be true.  Read this short tidbit and then spend a little time with your favorite beverage and WikiTree trying to show how we're all part of one big Presidential tree.

I saw you found it already or I would have suggested checking out the Presidents project group. While they are not authorities they are probably trying to work on and research many of the same issues you are.
