I've been doing a lot of sourcing the last two months, but I don't just add a source and leave it. I try to find out as much as I can and add sourced information to that effect. Prior to mid-February I would not have considered that I was a "Sourcerer" (and I don't really think of myself that way now, although I love doing it). While not as fully fleshed out as some profiles, or as "pretty", I do my best to write up what information I add in a semi-narrative way, so it's not just "name: DoB<ref>" "name: married DoM<ref>" "name: DoD <ref>" .. .. or name born BDM # etc. (Sorry, but to me that's not a source.)
My biggest sticking point to signing up to be part of these projects (DD, PIP etc) is the use of google groups (see "the Data Doctors Project Google Group which is our project member communication forum"). Even my "home team", the Australia Project, which was happy to use G2G and facebook when I first joined, is now, according to recent posts, using google groups (which makes me very sad).
I will continue to do what I do as well as I can do it, but without the "backing" of being part of any of the groups .. which makes me sad. So sad.
