Trying to remove an unresponsive profile manager from my own profile, using the bulk trusted watchlist tool. It asks you to enter in their email address, and it says it is not associated with a wikitree account. So I cannot remove them. Someone added a couple of children to my profile, and I cannot remove them until I am on the trusted list.  The profile manager is unresponsive and inactive for 2 years, so I'm just trying to remove.
Bill if it is your own profile as in Bill Chandler, then you are a PM, which means you can add or remove connections to you.
Thanks for the response. I thought that too, and after I remove the profiles they are still listed as my children. Maybe it is further complicated because last year a family member wanted to get involved, and she somehow merged our two profiles. My original one was deleted I believe, so I just had to change the information of the one remaining. However, the site didn't let me remove her children. Maybe I should have just created a new profile for myself, but didn't think of it at the time! Thanks for helping!
You cannot create duplicate profiles, it is against Wikitree s ethos of one profile for each person.

Bill, I don't understand how you could know that the email address is invalid.  When you send a private message, you never get to see the email address.  If the message bounces, the error message would go to WikiTree, not to you.

If you send a private message to the profile manager and wait a couple of weeks without getting a response, you can follow the unresponsive profile manager process … there are a couple of other things you need to do, after which you can submit the unresponsive profile manager request.

Bill, I see now that you just disconnected a child from your profile.  I also see that you have a co-manager on your profile.  You don't need to use a bulk removal tool for that.  Simply click the Privacy tab, scroll down to the trusted list and you'll see where to click to remove the co-manager.

If you need to be added to the trusted list of other profiles that she manages, if she does not respond to your private message or a comment that you leave on one of the profiles or a trusted list request that you make in 2 weeks, then you can submit the unresponsive manager request.  After that, if WikiTree is not successful at trying to contact her, all her profiles will be orphaned and open or public ones will be available for adoption.  Private profiles will probably be deleted, though, unless you are related to them, in which case you have to specifically ask to be made manager of these.
Thanks. It worked. Didn't see the removal button before somehow!
