RESOLVED: Who Was Peter Worden's Wife (Wives)?

Peter Worden (Worden-3) was born in Clayton, Lancashire, England.  Through merges, he is shown with two wives: Margaret Grice and Ann (Ffaingten) Worden.  The marriage to Margaret was apparently her second marriage, as she was the widow of Anthony Wall.

The only references to any marriage to Ann Ffaingten is in family trees on various sites.  One even shows her as "Ann Margaret (Ffaingten) Grice Worden.   I can find NO reference to Ann Ffaingten in any record. (It is possible that she married another Peter Worden who was then merged into Worden-3.).

Who was/were Peter's wives?

There may also be a problem of falsified royal lineage.  Can anyone help?

Ann Farrington (1479 b in Farington, Lancashire, England) was married to Roger Worden ( 1473-1562), Her parents were William Farrington (1440-) and Alice Ashton (1459-). Sometime the name is spelled Ffarrington.  I have found only one wife for Peter Worden.
Anna, thanks for this information; please provide a source for it.

I'm going to guess that "Ann Ffaington" is a misplaced corruption (from somebody's gedcom) of the wife of Peter's great-grandfather Roger Worden (as shown at wikitree), whose name was Ann Farrington.

Regarding the Worden family's alleged royal ancestry, check out this page: http://washington.ancestryregister.com/WORDEN00006.htm#i799

That is based on Gary Boyd Roberts' The Royal Descents of 600 American Colonists, which is unsourced but a place to start looking.  It is available at ancestry.com

Fixed the profile. Thanks for the additional info. Added a prominent note at the top of both profiles asking that they not be connected by marriage. They also had an Adams daughter whose birth date did not make sense, removed her parents.
