Eliza, and her first husband, Mr. Green (Charles Green’s son), and their 8 children, met James Willis and family when both families were enroute to the US. Mr. Green became ill, died, and was buried at sea. Not long after arrival in the US, Jane Willis became ill and died. James Willis married his second wife, Eliza Green. In spite of his age, James and Eliza had 4 sons, James, George, Henry, and Albert. Four of the eight Green children were: 2 daughters, Mrs. Thomas Underwood and Mrs. Charles Hill, and 2 sons, William Green and John Green.
