Okay I spent 8 hours over 8 days reviewing over 3,500 profiles from my GEDCOM upload. All 8 pages now show either "matched" or rejected suggestions; no suggestions appear on the 8 pages.
However, the large orange bordered "Compare:" dialogue box tells me that there are 32 suggested matches to consider. I have reviewed all 8 pages, twice, and I cannot find any.
I am too scared to click on the button, "Refresh suggested matches", in case I am presented with hundreds more items to review.
Can anyone please advise how to resolve my issue. I obviously don't want to lose 8 days' work or have to repeat this exercise.
I chose the option "Refresh suggested matches", which resulted in "237 suggested matches". I reviewed each and when the "Compare:" dialogue box updated to say that there were 0 suggested matches, the "Add" button feature for each unmatched record appeared.
However, there was actually 1 suggested match. I reviewed it and chose to Reject it. This resulted in the "Compare:" dialogue box updating to say that there were -1 suggested matches, and the "Add" button feature DISAPPEARED.
I have "Refreshed suggested matches" to reset the "Compare:" dialogue. I am now reviewing its found 109 suggested matches, in the aim of achieving 0 suggested matches.
Success: achieved "0 suggested matches" and "Add" buttons appeared. Now adding 3,619 entries, one-by-one.
TIP: Ensure there is a birth and death date for your records BEFORE uploading GEDCOM (even if estimates/uncertain). These are required fields at WikiTree.
