I don't get that.  Not at all.

I wonder if the downvote was intended to express sorrow or regret at Bill's loss.

(And, yes, even though I have received many more upvotes than downvotes, I'd still like to see the whole voting system axed. Votes come with no context, so they have no meaning. If people want to express an opinion -- positive or negative -- there's this wonderful new technology for doing that. It's called "comments". wink)

Just pointing out that most people wouldn't have even known there was a downvote. By bringing attention to it people are now talking about that instead of recognizing Bill. Just a thought.  :)
