Correct category for a Catholic order? [closed]

I recently put up a profile for a Catholic priest (someone part of my family knew) and noted he was part of an order that does not seem to have a category. Which one of these two would be appropriate (or another suggestion) and where would it go in the category tree?:

Category: Clerics of Saint Viator

Category: Viatorians

Thank you in advance,

Don

I don't see the order mentioned in the bio. Perhaps you should add it there, then do the categorization. (But it's a good bio so far.) I think Deb nailed it though. It will be a subcategory of Catholic Religious Orders.

"The Viatorians, or Clerics of Saint Viator (C.S.V.), are a Roman Catholic religious institute founded in Lyon, France, in 1831 by Father Louis Querbes. Its patron, Saint Viator, was a 4th-century catechist in Lyon." could be the text to add to the category content. I found it at [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clerics_of_Saint_Viator] Wikipedia.

Category: Clerics of Saint Viator

Sub-category of Category: Catholic Religious Orders

You could note on the category page that the order is also known as Viatorians and link to the Wikipedia article about them.

Please note that they are also known as Clercs de Saint-Viateur, they are/were present in this province.

Good point! Please keep us in line with the French named categories! Happy to have that pointed out.

Thanks Deb and Natalie. With some embarrassment I must retract the question. Sources consulted seemed to indicate that Fr. Lebel was CSV but further checking for a confirmation yielded instead a list of "resident pastors" in Bourbonnais and neighboring areas. Lebel's name is among them, as are several others with "C.S.V.," but his name does not carry that indication.

The history of all of this is way out of my area, but I've learned a few things in the process. Thanks again.

Don
