Created new Canadian Expeditionary Force Category ...

I just created a category for the "102nd Infantry Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force, World War 1" using the 103rd Battalion category page as a guide.

Would someone from the Categorization and Military War Projects please take a look to make sure it's OK?

Thanks!

Hi Julie! From an M&W perspective:

Most of the battalions listed under CEF do not have “Infantry,” but some do, so there is some inconsistency. Also, many of the battalions have a local designation. I don’t know if the 102nd had one of those, but you could include that. Otherwise, looks good.
Thanks, Pip ... I just grabbed an existing one to use as an example. They can both be renamed, if necessary. Off to take a look @ the site Santino posted to see if the local designation is applicable. :-)
Another one that caught my interest.  Looking at a former Directorate of History for the Canadian Forces (aka Department of Militia and Defence at the time) uses both Battalion CEF and Infantry Battalion CEF (Duguid Appendix 200).  When looking at attestation form, the term (Overseas) Battalion CEF is also used.

When the term Battalion CEF is used, all 260 were raised as raised and Infantry Battalions (67th the exception) and were changed to Reverse Battalion or other designation after they were in the UK.  However, term Battalion CEF was in general practice and technically acceptable.
