How do I remove a photo also get rid of the name that has wrong data

My full name is William Roscoe Duncan b. in November 27, 1948.

I have followed the instructions but when my photo was placed it went to another William Duncan (nmi) born in the 1950's.

How can I correct this?  It seems that your program jumps to whomever and places  the  information where it wants it to be not where it should be. Either that or I have misunderstood the programs directions.

Hi William,

That's odd. I see a photo on your profile: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Duncan-1956

In looking at your changes http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:NetworkFeed&who=Duncan-1956 I can see that this is the only one you uploaded so it must be the one you're talking about.

Is it possible there is another profile for you on WikiTree and you're looking at that instead of your account profile? In other words, is it possible someone else added you to WikiTree? If so, you need to do a merge. See http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Merging

I think I see what the problem is - the Wikitree reference.  Mr Duncan's reference number is Duncan-1956 i.e. there are one thousand, nine hundred and fifty-five other Duncan family members on Wikitree.

I will admit that I found the numbers surprising when I first started using WikiTrees, but now use them as a helpful guide.
