Who is Martha Mariah Staurings parents?

My ancestor is Martha Mariah Stauring, he rfather is suppose to be John Staring. I kept getting lead so many different ways and have not been able to find any definate information. I was hoping you could help me? Martha married Francis Marion Piper, they both came from Herkimer County, New York.  She was born abt 24 April  1844 and married in 1866.  her father was suppose to be born abt 1810 maybe New York too and died in 1844 in New York, he was mmarried to a Rebecca Cusporus.  I was told that is who he married but myself am not 100 percent. Martha and her husband Francis moved to Minnesota and that is where they both stayed until they passed.

There is a Martha Stauring b. abt 1844 listed in the census with John and Rebeca, however, this John appears in census data through 1870.  He is the son of John/Johan Stauring/Stahring and Catherine Fuchs/Fox.   From user submitted ancestral files, Rebecca is the daughter of Johannes and Polly Casporous.  Don't know if any of this helps.  Maybe searching some of the siblings will provide more info.
