RootsTech 2019 Live Stream Schedule

If you are like me and unable to attend RootsTech this year - never fear, the live stream is here! While we can't join in on all of the social gatherings, we can at least keep up to date with some of the updates and keynote speakers from the comfort of our own homes.

Starting Wednesday at 9:30am Mountain Time (UTC-7:00), RootsTech will live stream from their website. For more information, visit the RootsTech 2019 Live Stream Schedule. I already have my days planned to catch "Perilous Assumptions: Revisiting Those First Finds", "The Research Road Map: Your Path to Success" and probably my most anticipated stream, "The Silent Language of the Stones: Reading Gravestones through Symbols and Carvings".

For anyone else not attending this year, what are you interested in seeing?

Maybe a bloopers reel of the most zany comments and questions on Wikitree from the last year?

If you miss a session that you wanted to watch, RootsTech is posting the entire LiveStream to YouTube. Here is the link for Wednesday's session. It is 10 hours long and includes all the filler but you can scroll forward to catch the sessions:

Definitely the Research Road Map.  It can't hurt to take a refresher... The Silent Language of Stones sounds intriguing for sure... and let's see... Irish Historic Newspapers, I think are my top 3

Thanks for posting!

Definitely the Silent Language. We’ve got gravestones here that could use some interpretation! Thanks for this, Steven. Truly appreciated!

Maybe I've got a blind spot or maybe it's my computer acting up.... but I can't see where to go from the Live Stream Schedule to actually get on a Live Stream ???  will a button appear when it's streaming or something?

The stream will be available from the home page. As the streams go live, I will try to post here in G2G, so keep an eye on the RootsTech tag!

Thanks!

There certainly are a couple that sound really interesting, along with a few to be recorded and available post conference.

A recent meeting of the local Genealogical Society had a presentation on reading (and preserving) gravestones. Very interesting!
