Son of the above , Angus macdonald  b1785 c  m Margaret Osborne in Ayrshire .

Family have a book ~~ hardcover, Flora Macdonald . we think?? if   there is a connection through a Douglas Macdonald (female ) ?. Also a letter wriiten by?Amelia/or Cecilia Andon or Andos /( difficult to read as date is Feb .2. 1843 ) Scrawled beside the signature is " This account is from Aunt Flora MacDonald Mama's sister . It mentions the overthrow at Dunauchy? Clan Sanda ,"remember thefore that we are the head of our own family, belonging to no other clan ;acknowledging our cousin Clanrandal as Chief of all MacDonalds as being the descendant of the eldest son of the last Lord of the Isles which we came fromClanrandals grandmother and  Mama's , her sisters the 2 heartful  Mackinnon of MacKinnonson.Clan's father therefore & our Grandfather were first cousins, making their children 2nd cousins of Clanrandals & also to Lord Gelhauts (sp) whose Grandmother & Clan's was the same person as 2nd or 3rd this Lord of the Isles being the head descendant of Tomerted ( sp ? )

We cannot connect  book ,letter or pages from a paper book  MacDonalds of Sanda to our MacDonald Family

Every input would be grateful ,thanking you kindly Vern & Sandra Francis
