This answer is close to the mark, but still conflates two James Holloways who were first cousins, both were RevWar vets born within a couple years of each other. One of them was indeed the son of James Holloway and Elizabeth Hunt, but that family stayed in York County.

There is no record of marriage or children for that particular James Holloway, Jr.
The James S. Holloway linked to this post is the one who married Martha Owen Spencer in Charlotte County. He was the son of George Holloway and Elizabeth MNU who had removed York County to Lunenburg County (later Mecklenburg County) presumably before the birth of James, because their youngest children were not in the Charles Parish birth and baptisms registry whereas their oldest children were. This is also the James S. Holloway who removed his family to Jessamine Co., Kentucky where his will was proved November 1829.
However, neither one of these James Holloway cousins were a brushmaker who married in England per the original question that was asked about the profile. They were both from a family that had been in Colonial Virginia for over a century before their births.
I know I'm dusting off an old post here, but just wanted to comment the current understanding for future travelers.
Thanks
