I don't get it. I see a tree on MyHeritage, which seems to be your tree. But it has as DOB and POB "after 1830" and "Hamburg", and here it is 31 May 1822 and Ansbach, Bayern. Which makes a difference in years of at least 8, and a difference in distance of at least 600 km. This makes it a bit hard to see which information you consider correct.

Hi Jelena, Many thanks for your reply. It is much appreciated.

Unfortunately, I have not updated my tree on the MyHeritage site as yet and I cannot find any details on my profile/family tree on that site in regard to Georg Christian Adolf Dollmann. My last entry was that of my Grandfather Georg Curt Adolph Dollmann (1884-1951).

The actual Date of Birth and Place of Birth for Georg Christian Adolf Dollmann was originally unknown and were a guesstimate on my part calculated from the ages and location of one of his child, Carl Paul Dollmann and were only temporary until I was able to validate the actual details.

I have accept that he was born in Ansbach, Bayern on 31 May, 1822 but do not know whether he died there or elsewhere in Germany.

Please could you give me the web address of the tree on MyHeritage so that I can follow up and make the necessary adjustments.

If you have a good reason to enter then contact the manager."

This is what he says on the Wikitree profile, yes. But it is obv only of the death certificate of the son. Now he looks (according to the WT-profile and this question) for primary sources. But when there are two trees managed of the same person where the informations differ that much, I for my case don't know which tree he considers more correct.
Many thanks Wayne.....much appreciated.
I only consider my Wikitree to be my primary tree. It is the only tree that I now use due to MyHeritage and Ancestry limiting me to the number of people I can have on my family site unless I upgrade,  which unfortunately I cannot do due to financial reasons
