Can 'Wallander" Fans Connect the Author, Henning Mankell, to the Wikitree?

Question

Henning Mankell, a famous Swedish writer and social activist, wrote the crime series about Inspector Kurt Wallander. Can Wiki-Detectives connect him to the Wikitree? There are clues in his Biography that may help.

For a two-fer, he was the son-in-law of Ingmar Bergman, who is also not connected to the Wikitree.

I've added some of his Swedish family tree but no connection to the main tree so far. The furthest back I got on the Mankell side was to Johan Mankell (Mankell-10), who had a number of children, all listed somewhere in depths of early 18th century Karlskrona records. If anyone else is in the mood for a fun day of searching through records, feel free take over.

I got a bit distracted up in Nordmaling, scouting a bit around Sophia Amalia Häggström - but I don't think there's an easy connection there.

Didn't find many descendants yet for Johan Manckel.

But his son Wilhelm August had at least four children, and Herman Vilhelm seems to have left for North America.

Good work! I found his burial site in Minnesota and he had several children in the US. That could be a good branch for connections.

Well, I would not work on this because of my lack of experience with Swedish sources; but, according to Swedish Wikipedia, Ingmar Bergman's last wife, born Ingrid Karlebo, was previously married to Jan-Carl von Rosen himself the son of Elsa von Rosen, whose second husband was Count Carl Bernadotte. That would connect Ingmar Bergman.

Edit - actually the profile for Elsa von Rosen already exists. So Elsa -> her son Jan-Carl -> his wife Ingrid Karlebo -> her second husband, Ingmar Bergman.
