Jobe Eaton/Eden(s) family oddity.

I’ve been looking for my great great great grandpa for quite awhile and I came across this. His final years in life I can find but his birth, parents etc...Has been nearly impossible.   There are other Jobes in the extended family close to same age, but this particular Jobe fits the bill.   My fathers DNA test came up with a 1.6%Sub Saharan African and other known distant Edens that have done the same either show very little African Ancestry or none at all.  This particular census he was originally marked as mullatto and he doesn’t fit with his siblings.  On the census...it’s like him and Nancy were added to family from elsewhere.  In census records from same area The is a Nancy Edens(might be misspelled Eaton) as Head of house but she is listed with 6-7 persons marked as Black.  But no Jobe

Determining Jobe’s parents are going to be difficult.  Any suggestions?

There is nothing in the color column, so probably white.

He was originally marked as a Mullotto and his age isn’t in order with other siblings, as if he is a nephew etc...)and his place of birth is different than his family.  So regardless of color...this is the stopping place to tracing back any further.
